Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in education or related field.
• Active Virginia teaching license in Special Education required.
• Endorsement in Emotional Disabilities (ED) or related SPED endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans aligned to SOLs, school curriculum, and IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction to meet varied needs including behavior and sensory needs.
• Use data to monitor progress and guide instructional decisions.
• Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with families and related service providers.
• Implement KEYS for a Big Life Curriculum and Social Thinking integration.
