MIDWAY LIVING INC in New York City is seeking a Social Worker to provide trauma-informed services to individuals and families in our facilities, guiding clients toward symptom management and economic stability through case management, advocacy, and referrals.

The Counselor will document biopsychosocial assessments, medical and mental health needs, review housing applications, offer crisis intervention, and participate in community events. Evening and some weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work required.
• Licensure as LMSW or eligible for LMSW.
• Graduate program must cover core social work areas and include field practicum.

Responsabilités

• Conduct and document psychological evaluations for housing applications.
• Provide trauma-informed individual and group counseling.
• Review case files to ensure NASW standards and NYS compliance.
• Provide safety planning and crisis intervention, advocacy and referrals.
• Represent Midway Living at community events and committees.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
