Family Service League Inc. in Bay Shore, NY is hiring a full-time Social Worker/Mental Health Counselor for our Mental Health Clinic. The role includes evaluations, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention for individuals and families with a range of DSM diagnoses.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative, trauma-informed care environment. Evening and Saturday hours are required as part of a 35-hour workweek.

Formación

• Master’s Degree in social work or related field is required.
• LMSW/LCSW/LMFT or Limited Permit required.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a behavioral health setting; clinic experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide evaluation/assessment, treatment planning, psychotherapy and crisis intervention.
• Offer individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults with DSM diagnoses.
• Deliver services in trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner.
• Provide crisis intervention during scheduled hours; complete all clinical documentation per OMH standards.
• Collaborate with family and other care coordination contacts; participate in supervision and team meetings.
• Attend trainings and provide telehealth when needed; identify and refer as needed.
