Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County (NLSLA) is seeking a full-time, temporary Social Worker to support a Douglas Foundation-funded initiative expanding access to domestic violence, legal, and social-service resources. This role requires travel to the Antelope Valley for community outreach, workshops, and direct client services.

Qualifications

• MSW degree from an accredited program.
• Experience providing direct social-work services and case management.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and DV experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel regularly across LA County.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop service plans.
• Provide trauma-informed short-term interventions and safety planning.
• Coordinate workshops and educational presentations.
• Collaborate with attorneys and advocates to connect clients with legal resources.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and program reporting.
