Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County (NLSLA) seeks a full-time, temporary Case Manager to support a Douglas Foundation‑funded initiative expanding access to domestic violence, legal, and social‑service resources for low‑income community members in the Antelope Valley and surrounding LA County.

The role involves outreach, referrals, and collaboration with social workers, attorneys, advocates, colleges, and community partners, with regular travel required and a hybrid on-site/remote

Responsibilities

• Conduct client intakes, screenings, and needs assessments and identify appropriate resources (legal, social-service, public-benefit, DV, housing).
• Provide short‑term case management, resource navigation, referrals, and follow‑up to connect clients with services.
• Plan, coordinate, and staff Douglas Foundation‑funded community workshops, clinics, outreach events, and resource tables.
• Support outreach for workshops addressing domestic violence, housing rights, family-law resources, and related needs.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with community colleges, CalWORKs programs, and community-based organizations.
• Provide information and referrals before/after workshops and coordinate warm handoffs to legal and social services teams.
