Job summary

Centerstone is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison to work with classroom teachers to promote trauma-informed, positive learning environments. The role includes psycho-educational groups and liaison work between families and schools, with involvement in IEP processes and trauma-informed planning.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, licensed-eligible status, and clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree relevant to clinical psychology, MH counseling, social work or family therapy; license-eligible preferred.
• Or Master’s in related field with 24 graduate-level credits in psychology, counseling, or behavioral health coursework; clinical experience required.
• License eligibility and valid driver’s license; must meet vehicle insurance eligibility.
• Starting Salary Range: $42,300 - $46,700.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face consultation with teachers to create trauma-informed classrooms.
• Deliver at least one face-to-face training per year to LEA personnel.
• Assist in school-wide mental health initiatives and universal prevention strategies.
• Act as liaison between school and family, supporting IEP processes when requested.
• Support school personnel in navigating behavioral health services and crisis resources.
• Maintain logs and documentation to meet grant and organizational requirements.
• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy as needed.
