Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System seeks a Registered Nurse, Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) on a PRN basis to deliver timely, trauma‑informed care to victims and/or perpetrators of violence. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to PHI/privacy rules while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

The ideal candidate has an accredited RN license, SANE training, ACLS/PALS, and at least one year of acute care experience, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited RN program.
Complete 64 hour SANE course or two 40 hour IAFN SANE trainings within six months of hire.
Minimum of one year of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

Perform acts within scope of practice as defined by licensing board.
Assess patient needs and develop/maintain care plans.
Evaluate and provide care from newborn to geriatric.
Document per policy and generate reports.
