Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months of hire.
• Certification in Forensic Nursing/SANE encouraged (SANE-A/SANE-P).

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic examination to document evidence of abuse for court proceedings.
• Perform forensic interview with patient about abuse incidents.
• Collect specimens and photographs as prescribed; perform genital/physical exams per policy.
• Provide medical care and patient support throughout treatment.
• Direct and coordinate FNE/SANE staff and department resources.
