Job summary

Crossroads Health seeks a compassionate Residential Specialist for the Northcoast House in Concord, Ohio. This PRN position supports residents in short-term or transitional housing, monitoring progress and documenting contact per guidelines while using trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities include one-to-one coaching, expanding social networks, and collaborating with treatment staff to sustain client progress. Requires adaptable availability including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in social work or related field preferred with 2–3 years related experience.
• High School diploma or GED required at minimum.
• Experience with trauma-informed care and crisis intervention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-to-one with residents teaching independent living skills.
• Help residents increase social support networks and community ties.
• Collaborate with Community Support Treatment Workers to support progress.
• Provide crisis support and assist in crisis intervention when needed.
