Job summary

Stepping Stones, a residential program dedicated to safe and supportive services for children and adolescents, seeks a House Supervisor to lead a licensed residential home, supervise care staff, and ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care. The role emphasizes structured, therapeutic environments and regulatory compliance within PA Chapter 3800 standards.

The House Supervisor will guide daily operations, coordinate programming, support families and schools, and participate in treatment team

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 1 year of work experience with children or an associate degree with 3 years of experience with children.
• Minimum of two years of experience in residential child care, youth services, behavioral health, foster care, or related fields.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required clearances, certifications, and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight of all operations within an assigned residential home.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and support Youth Care Specialists and direct care staff.
• Ensure a safe, structured, supportive, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Coordinate daily residential programming aligned with individual service plans and treatment goals.
• Conduct staff orientation, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing development.
• Maintain staffing schedules and staff-to-resident ratios.
• Monitor compliance with regulations, policies, and licensing requirements.
• Lead staff during behavioral incidents, crises, and emergency responses.
• Review incident reports, progress notes, and medication records.
