Job summary

Italian Home for Children is seeking a Masters‑level clinician to provide trauma‑informed clinical services tochildren and families at our Jamaica Plain campus. The clinician will work with youth aged 4–13, delivering individual, dyad, group, and family therapy and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires licensure in MA (LICSW or LMHC) or progress toward it, and prior experience with trauma and behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field.
• Massachusetts clinical license (LICSW or LMHC) or progress toward obtaining license.
• 1–2 years post-master’s experience preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Serve as case manager for assigned caseload.
• Provide individual, group and family therapy to clients.
• Maintain regular contact with outside collaterals and parents.
• Relay significant information to treatment team members.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Attend conferences and treatment team meetings.
• Write initial treatment plans, psychosocial assessments, and progress notes.
• Coordinate assessment of a child’s response to psychotropic medications.
• Provide in-home therapy to families in the community.
