Job summary

Gandara Mental Health Center, Inc. in Chicopee, MA is seeking a qualified professional to provide individual, group, and family therapy to youth in our residential program.

You will deliver trauma-informed clinical case management for 8–12 youths, complete assessments, and coordinate with guardians and funders to ensure quality service delivery. The role requires a Master's degree in Social Work or related field, and bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to the youth in the program.
• Provide trauma-informed clinical case management to approximately 8–12 youth by coordinating team meetings, creating treatment plans, and providing program recommendations on services to best help the youth and family when applicable.
• Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments, and CANS, as part of the assessment process.
• Work closely and communicate well with funders/guardians to ensure satisfactory service delivery including meeting attendance and regular communication.
• Provide training toResidential Counselors and Case Managers on clinical issues pertaining to their work with clients.
• Maintain client records and documentation in accordance with licensing and funder requirements.
• Participate as a member of the team within a clinically oriented trauma-informed treatment milieu.
• Participate in a rotating on-call for after-hours client/program emergencies.
• Take on administrative tasks as delegated by the Program Director and/or Clinical Director.
• Performs Follow Along with Clinical Services, in coordination with staff when applicable to program type.

Education

Masters degree in Social Work, Mental Health or Marriage and Family Counseling, Human Services, or related degree
