Job summary

LifePath Systems is seeking a Recovery Coach to deliver in-person, telehealth and community-based recovery services across McKinney, Texas. You will engage individuals, families, and communities to support recovery goals and remove barriers through person-centered care and trauma-informed practice.

Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, documenting services in EHR and CMBHS, and building strong relationships with OSAR/TX workforce and treatment providers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have lived experience with mental health condition, substance use disorder or both.
• At least 1 year of continuous sobriety and be able to demonstrate current self-directed recovery.
• Willing to share their own recovery story with individuals seeking and receiving treatment while maintaining boundaries.
• Must pass criminal history check to obtain peer certification and a pre-employment drug screen; RSPS certification preferred if not already held.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, virtual, telephone and community-based recovery services.
• Assist with transportation to referral services or recovery meetings.
• Document all services and engagement via EHR and CMBHS.
• Identify barriers to recovery and provide relevant resources.
• Build positive relationships with community-facing agencies and stakeholders.
• Maintain boundaries and work independently and with the team to foster outcomes.
• Track six-month follow-up assessments and contract-required measures.
• Lead sessions, support groups and community-based services as caseload requires.
