Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.

Lived experience with mental health condition or substance use disorder.
At least 1 year of continuous sobriety and self-directed recovery.
Willing to share recovery story while maintaining boundaries.
Pass criminal history check for peer certification and pre-employment drug screen.
Preferred RSPS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Provide in-person, telehealth, or telephonic services daily for enrolled individuals.
Facilitate individual sessions, recovery support groups, and community-based services.
Identify needs and refer to housing, employment, health, and legal resources.
Document services in EHR and CMBHS systems promptly and accurately.
Build relationships with community agencies and maintain professional partnerships.
Meet monthly with Peer Support Supervisor; ensure 6-month follow-up assessments.
Ensure adherence to contract requirements and SAMHSA guidance.
