Job summary

Preferred Behavioral Health Group is hiring a Prevention Consultant for Monmouth County, NJ. You will collaborate with schools, districts, and community partners to deliver trainings, workshops, and webinars for youth and families, focusing on prevention science and trauma-informed care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, three years of related experience, and a valid NJ driver’s license with a clean driving record. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; remote work is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field
• Prevention Science certification a plus
• Three years of relevant work experience
• Valid NJDL and safe driving record; vehicle available for transportation
• Satisfactory background check including fingerprinting per regulations
• Bilingual in Spanish Plus
• Proficiency with Excel and Word; electronic record keeping portals
• Trauma-informed communication and strong organizational skills
• Follow HR policies and procedures; familiarity with organizational policies

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, webinars, and assemblies for youth and families.
• Assist in program data collection, reporting, and evaluation of services to target populations.
• Facilitate trainings, workshops, webinars, and assemblies to HUB vicinage schools.
• Attend events and meetings related to prevention and community services.
• Plan and implement programs for schools and communities.
• Establish alliances with boards, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community centers.
• Provide customer service and maintain positive relationships with participants.
• Deliver evidence-based prevention services with fidelity.
• Coordinate with collaborators on best practices in prevention science.
