Preferred Behavioral Health Group, a leading nonprofit in New Jersey, seeks a Prevention Consultant for Monmouth County. You will develop and deliver trainings, workshops, and assemblies to youth and families, collaborating with districts and community partners to enhance prevention programs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Education or related field, a Prevention Science certification (a plus), and at least three years of relevant experience, with a valid NJ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field.
• Three years of relevant work experience.
• Prevention Science certification a plus.
• Valid NJ Driver’s License and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, webinars, and assemblies to youth and families.
• Assist in programmatic data collection, reporting, and evaluation of services to target population.
• Plan and implement programs to schools and communities; attend HUB events and meetings.
• Establish alliances with schools, law enforcement, and healthcare providers to support prevention services.
• Maintain positive relationships with program participants and ensure fidelity of curricula.
