Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or some college education.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills are required.
• Must pass initial competency evaluations and participate in required trainings.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must demonstrate ability to build healthy relationships with youth.
• Must participate in Centerboard trainings including CPR/First Aid, Trauma-Informed Care, Behavior Management, Medication Administration, HIPAA, OSHA, Ethics and Boundaries, and multicultural awareness and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program logs and complete all required shift documentation, including progress notes and incident reports.
• Provide documentation of all incidents during shifts.
• Respond to crisis situations using Behavior Management Techniques.
• Adhere to program requirements as outlined in the job shadow checklist.
• Maintain safety and security of residents and the facility in the supervisor’s absence.
• Use Centerboard’s On-Call system to report incidents and obtain after-hours support.
• Support other Youth Services programs for staffing coverage or crisis management.
• Build and maintain healthy relationships with residents, coworkers, and other involved parties.
• Understand and implement IBSPs, Safety Plans, and Treatment Plan goals.
• Provide advocacy for residents through meetings and documentation.
• Coordinate daily resident activities, life skills, and supervision.
• Follow Centerboard policies and program regulations.
• Complete rounds to ensure safety and document observations.
