Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and previous experience with youth or in a residential setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or some college is helpful.
• Must pass initial competency evaluation and ongoing trainings.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; willing to use personal vehicle for client transport.

Responsibilities

• Document all incidents on shift.
• Respond to crisis using Behavior Management Techniques.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility in the supervisor’s absence.
• Advocate for residents via 1:1 meetings and team meetings; document these meetings.
• Coordinate daily activities and transportation for residents; assist with meals and daily living tasks.
• Ensure program reports and pass information to the next shift; conduct room searches and drug tests as required.
