Job summary

River Valley Counseling Center, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Clinician to provide trauma-informed mental health assessment and therapy to individuals, families, and couples in a clinical setting.

The clinician develops and updates treatment plans, maintains accurate records, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality, compliant care. The role requires MA licensure (LMHC/LMFT/LCSW/LICSW) and a Master’s degree, with as-needed crisis intervention and culturally responsive

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services, counseling, clinical psychology or social work.
• Licensure in MA (LMHC/LMFT/LCSW/LICSW) within preferred qualifications.
• CANS certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and diagnose mental health disorders; develop treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing therapy to individuals, families or couples; adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and client records.
• Coordinate referrals, outreach, and case consultations as appropriate.
• Report abuse or neglect as required by MA law.
