Job summary

Family Service of RI (FSRI) seeks a clinician to provide trauma-informed diagnostic assessments and clinical counseling for children, youth and families in community and office settings. You will collaborate with case managers to ensure best client care and provide emergency crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services or related field required.
• Independent licensure preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience as a TST clinician.
• Bilingual skills preferred; ASL supported with higher compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provides trauma-informed diagnostic assessments and clinical counseling for children, youth and caregivers both in community and office.
• Delivers brief treatment using modalities such as individual, couple, family or group therapy.
• Collaborates with case managers and service providers to ensure client needs are met.
• Provides emergency crisis intervention as needed.
• Assumes leadership among direct care staff and mentors new team members.
• Maintains confidentiality and prepares documentation within agency guidelines.
• Participates in Utilization Management and administrative supervision as scheduled.
• Travel to client residences and community sites as required.
