Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island, Inc. seeks a clinician to provide trauma-focused diagnostic assessments and evidence-based services for children, youth, and families in the community and office settings.

The role uses EBPs such as TST, PCIT, and DBT and involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and occasional crisis intervention. The position requires a Master’s degree in human services and RI licensure or eligibility, with a flexible schedule including some evenings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, etc) required.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Mental Health Counselor.
• Spanish Speaking preferred and is compensated.
• Flexible schedule with some evenings.
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement EBPs such as TST, PCIT and DBT in home and community with families.
• Participate in client and family initial assessments.
• Evaluate treatment process on an ongoing basis.
• Collaborate with case managers and other service providers to meet clients' needs.
• Provide emergency crisis intervention services as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of clients and families.
• Maintain or exceed productivity expectations.
• Proficient with electronic health records and project-specific software.
