Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; two years of direct casework with children and families in protection and care.
• Administrative and clinical skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to recruit, supervise and mentor staff; build trust and respect.
• Understanding of child welfare and/or juvenile justice systems; adaptable to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements effective treatment interventions for children and families involved with child welfare/juvenile justice.
• Evaluates programs and makes recommendations to leadership.
• Oversees standards and procedures for treatment staff; supports training and discipline.
• Maintains relationships with partner agencies, courts, and community stakeholders.
• Keeps leadership informed of programs and policies; manages caseloads and ensures quality service.
