Children & Families of Iowa is seeking a Family Support Worker to help children and families navigate trauma and life challenges, providing guidance, transportation, and supervised family interactions. You will collaborate with parents, foster families, and professionals to keep families safe and connected, and you will document cases accurately while contributing to a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in human services with children and/or dependent adults.
• Strong verbal and written communication; valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for families and children as needed
• Facilitate and supervise family interactions
• Provide crisis intervention and support services
• Coordinate and schedule meetings between families and FCS team members
• Complete accurate and timely case documentation
• Collaborate with a team dedicated to supporting and strengthening families
