Children & Families of Iowa is seeking a Family Support Worker to help children and families navigate trauma and life challenges, promoting stability and healing.

You will provide transportation, supervise family interactions, crisis intervention, and coordinate meetings with the FCS team to strengthen families and move toward a healthier future.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in human services working with children and/or dependent adults.
• Associate degree with at least six months of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field.
• Ability to work independently, respond to emergencies, and meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with liability coverage.

In this role, you’ll support families experiencing trauma or life challenges by providing guidance, transportation, and supervised family interactions. WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Family Support Worker, you will:

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
