Job summary

Child & Family Services in Fall River, MA is seeking a Family Support Navigator to provide high-quality, trauma-informed behavioral health services. The role supports same-day access, coordinates school-based referrals, and acts as a liaison to connect youth and families with appropriate services.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with varied hours, a $19.00–$22.50 hourly wage, and a focus on equity and culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Lived experience as the parent/caregiver of a youth with behavioral health needs and who comes from the same community as the population served preferred.
• At least one year of experience navigating child- and family-serving systems and supporting family members.
• Cultural humility and awareness of ethnic, linguistic considerations for populations served.
• Bilingual individuals preferred to best support client needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for clients and families.
• Provide trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, person-centered care based on client needs.
• Be knowledgeable of triage, screening and intake processes with clients.
• Manage referrals for school-based counseling with the school-based director.
• Facilitate family partner and peer support services as appropriate.
• Provide advocacy, coaching, training, support, and psychoeducation to clients and families.
• Coordinate care across health and behavioral health services to support wellness and recovery.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and participate in supervision and training activities.
