Job summary

The Adolphus Group is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on, person-centered support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in licensed residential homes. You will promote health, safety, dignity, independence, and inclusion within PA regulatory frameworks.

This frontline role requires consistency, accountability, emotional regulation, and adherence to clinical standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and mobility.
• Completion of mandatory onboarding trainings (e.g., fire safety, rights, trauma-informed care, med administration if applicable).
• Valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily Support & Personal Care: assist with ADLs, meal planning, nutrition based on ISP goals.
• Service Implementation & Documentation: complete ISPs/BSPs, shift notes, data collection, incident reports.
• Health, Safety & Medication Administration: administer medications per MAP guidelines, monitor health changes, conduct safety drills.
