Job summary

Community Integrated Services is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in discovering career interests and supporting them at job sites to achieve success. You will work with a mission-driven team across Delaware to build an equitable workforce and help participants navigate employment opportunities in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks and other pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support and instruction to participants at all stages of job placement.
• Maintain detailed records of on-site performance with daily notes.
• Help participants succeed in their place of employment in the community.
• Develop community job leads aligned with each participant's needs and capabilities.
• Match applicants to jobs and conduct follow-up after placement.
• Analyze and develop support strategies to assist participants in tasks.
• Conduct assessments with participants and communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
