Job summary

Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs in Needham, MA, seeks a Direct Care Supervisor to manage a therapeutic milieu for youth in the Residential & Educational Milieu Services unit. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily schedules, and ensure safe, structured activities for children and teens with complex needs.

The role requires crisis management skills, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and compliance with licensing standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred in related field.
• MAP Certification preferred.
• Experience in a residential setting required; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide a therapeutic milieu within the assigned unit in the Res Ed program.
• Manage the daily schedule for clients and ensure therapeutic recreational programming.
• Directly supervise assigned staff including individual and group supervision and evaluations.
• Provide crisis management within the program and campus as needed.
• Attend MDT meetings and treatment meetings to discuss youth progress.
• Coordinate scheduling and staff coverage; supervise medication administration as needed.
