Job summary

Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs in Needham, MA, is seeking a Direct Care Supervisor who will work directly with children and youth facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, supervise daily routines, and ensure therapeutic activities align with trauma-informed practices.

Under the Director of Res Ed Milieu Services, you’ll manage staff performance, crisis response, and scheduling, participate in staff interviews and trainings, and

Qualifications

• Must pass and apply Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training.
• Must pass and apply First Aid/CPR training.
• Must pass medication training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and manage daily schedule for clients in the Res Ed unit.
• Provide crisis management and supervise staff evaluations.
• Coordinate with campus leadership and participate in staff interviews and trainings.
• Ensure adherence to licensing standards and implement individual behavioral support plans.
• Assist with communication across shifts and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
