Job summary

YWCA Dayton is seeking a dedicated Crisis Services Program Specialist to provide direct crisis-line coverage and shelter support. The role focuses on trauma-informed crisis intervention, data collection, and program reporting within a 40-hour weekly schedule.

The position collaborates with the Director of Data Services and Compliance and operates in a fast-paced, compassionate environment dedicated to empowering women and preventing racism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in crisis intervention, victim services, shelter services, or related human services is required.
• Proven trauma-informed competency and ability to work in crisis situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct crisis-line coverage during assigned hours with trauma-informed care.
• Assess needs, provide interventions, document services, and refer to resources.
• Maintain data accuracy and contribute to program reporting and evaluation.
• Assist with shelter operations and ensure a safe, trauma-informed environment.
• Collaborate across Crisis Services and with leadership to improve service delivery.
