This role combines substance use counseling with a practical, solution-focused approach to help patients navigate challenges, build resilience, and progress toward recovery goals.

Qualifications

  • Requires LMSW or LMHC licensure and 1 year of clinical experience.
  • Experience in individual and group counseling with evidence-based practices.
  • Proficiency in ethics and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload providing individual and group treatment with trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide assistance to patients in achieving self-sufficiency and positive treatment outcomes.
  • Help patients identify goals and solutions related to substance use, recovery, mental illness, and disruptions to life areas.
  • Develop and update treatment plans monthly with patient input.
  • Prepare and participate in weekly interdisciplinary meetings and complete required paperwork in EMR.
  • Adhere to agency policies, ethics, and confidentiality; engage in training and program development.
