Job summary

Jordan CRC / Phoenix Counseling Solutions seeks a Recruitment & Community Outreach Specialist to connect women facing homelessness, substance use, trauma, or mental health challenges with recovery services. You’ll meet women where they are in shelters, jails, treatment programs, and community centers, building trust for voluntary care and warm handoffs to treatment and housing.

Qualifications

• Documented experience engaging women facing homelessness or housing instability
• Experience in outreach, participant recruitment, recovery support, reentry, case management, or related human services
• Willingness to work in approved community and correctional settings
• Reliable transportation for outreach
• Strong communication, documentation, and professional judgment

Responsibilities

• Outreach and recruitment to unhoused women and those with behavioral health needs
• Engage women at shelters, jails, treatment programs, hospitals, community centers, and faith-based groups
• Explain eligibility, services and intake with respect for voluntary participation
• Maintain regular outreach schedule and build referral partnerships
• Coordinate warm handoffs to counseling, treatment, recovery housing, employment, and benefits
