Job summary

Gandara Center in Boston, MA is seeking an In Home Therapy Clinician to deliver structured, strength-based interventions in client homes. The role supports youth behavioral health needs and family functioning with a team of professionals and paraprofessionals.

The position requires a Master’s Degree in a human services field and at least one year of experience, with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Excellent cultural sensitivity and collaboration with the youth’s family are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess an MCE approved Master's Degree in a human services field.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Driver’s License and proper auto insurance are required.
• Awareness and sensitivity to contextual variables such as race, culture, gender, sexuality, disability, economics, and lived experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnose and provide proper clinical formulation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of service delivery protocol and treatment standards.
• Submit detailed progress notes following federal, state, and agency requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive home-based assessments, including CANS.
• Develop and modify youth and family-centered treatment plans with consent.
• Review and develop risk management and safety plans.
• Provide intensive family therapy using evidence-based techniques.
• Identify community resources and natural supports for ongoing goals.
• Provide or secure crisis/emergency services as needed.
• Collaborate with other professionals involved with the youth and family.
