Job summary

Marsell Wellness Center is seeking a clinician to provide strengths-based, trauma-informed mental health services and comprehensive case management. You will document plans, collaborate with treatment teams, and ensure care respects language and cultural needs.

Your role includes conducting assessments, developing permanency-focused plans with families, and coordinating with partnering providers to support client well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field with direct clinical experience.
• Registration required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as ASW/AMFT/APCC.
• Proficiency in documenting and coordinating treatment plans and services.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct mental health services to agency-approved and contracted clientele.
• Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment.
• Documentation: includes assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries in the EHR.
• Client-centered advocacy: assess needs, provide referrals/resources, and collaborate with families and professionals.
• Ensures culturally sensitive services in the client’s primary language; integrates religious/ethnic considerations into care.
• Interview children and others to gather data for assessments and case planning.
