Job summary

Marsell Wellness Center in Pomona, CA seeks a clinician to provide strengths-based, trauma-informed therapy, targeted case management, and collaboration with the treatment team. You will monitor client safety and permanency planning while aligning services with the UC portal requirements and family needs.

Position requires a Master’s degree in social work or related field, California BBS registration or eligibility, and strong documentation/computer skills. Bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to assess client needs and develop effective treatment and referral plans.
• Knowledge of confidentiality, record-keeping, and documentation standards.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct mental health services to agency-approved clients.
• Maintain confidentiality of client records and treatment notes.
• Develop and document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Advocate for clients and connect them to community resources.
• Ensure culturally sensitive services in client’s language and consider religious/ethnic needs.
