Job summary

Safe Alliance seeks a Client Care Specialist PRN to support residents at a domestic violence shelter. You will perform intake, crisis intervention, safety planning, and referrals with a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.

You will maintain confidential records, support grant reporting, and collaborate with community partners. Spanish-speaking is preferred; some hours may be outside typical times to meet 24/7 service needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience with victims or experience in human services preferred.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake, assessment, case management, crisis intervention and referrals using a trauma-informed, client-centered approach.
• Maintain confidential and accurate client and program records in agency databases.
• Research, write and manage grant reporting and relations as assigned.
• Adhere to documentation procedures and participate in Quality Assurance processes.
• Increase awareness of resources through public speaking and community engagement.
• Promote professional relationships with staff, volunteers and community partners.
• Stay informed on best practices in trauma and victimization; pursue training and certifications as needed.
