Job summary

UCLA Health in Santa Monica seeks a Stuart House Therapist to deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy for children who disclosed sexual abuse and their families, within the Stuart House program. You will conduct intake evaluations, comprehensive assessments, crisis intervention, and provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, while coordinating care and handling documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or Social Welfare from an accredited institution.
• California licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• Experience delivering trauma-informed psychotherapy to children and families.
• Competence in psychosocial/psychological evaluations with children/adolescents.
• Advanced knowledge of child development, trauma, crisis intervention, and sexual trauma.
• Experience in crisis settings with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services for children suspected victims of sexual abuse and their non-offending family members, including intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment to support recovery and resilience.
• Provide follow-up support and coordination of care for clients and families.
• Complete required documentation and other administrative responsibilities.
• May offer supervision or training to students or unlicensed staff.
• Participate in on-call 24/7 response system with overnight shifts (1–2 per month).
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other partner agencies as part of a multidisciplinary team.
