Job summary

South Coast Community Services seeks clinicians to deliver comprehensive mental health services, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with Probation, Schools, Juvenile Dependency Court, and County Behavioral Health Services. You will provide psychotherapy, case management, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field required.
• 1+ years’ experience in report writing, assessment/diagnostic skills, group and family therapy skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; able to navigate electronic health records systems.

Responsibilities

• Utilize trauma-informed approach when working with children and families.
• Provide individual and/or family therapy; formulate diagnoses and complete clinical assessments and treatment plans.
• Acquire and apply up-to-date knowledge of evidenced-based interventions and methodologies.
• Administer measures such as GAD-7 and PHQ-9 and use results to inform treatment.
• Collaborate with outside agencies to ensure treatment goals meet court-ordered requirements.
• Provide psychotherapy to commercially insured clients for an additional stipend through the Hope Healing Connection Program.
