Crosspoint Human Services is seeking a dedicated Child Counselor to support children who have witnessed domestic violence or experienced homelessness. This important role involves providing counseling services, organizing activities, and advocating for children. The ideal candidate will require a Bachelor's degree, experience with children, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• Requires Bachelor's degree in social services or related field, or equivalent in life experience.
• Two years' experience with children and domestic violence preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide parenting support of non-violent parenting techniques.
• Identify immediate needs and work with parents and children.
• Develop and monitor Service Plans jointly with children.
• Act as liaison between the agency and school districts.
• Coordinate activities that are social, recreational, and educational.
• Provide educational presentations on the effects of domestic violence.
