Job summary

FosterAdopt Connect is seeking Behavioral Interventionists to work with children facing behavioral health challenges. You will support emotional regulation, use trauma-informed approaches, and participate in ongoing training and supervision.

Role involves after-school, evening, and weekend hours, with opportunities to impact home, school, and community outcomes. Mobility and readiness to work in varied settings are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with elevated behavioral needs is preferred.
• Must be willing to perform safety holds after training.
• Must have smartphone and laptop for work.
• Willing to commute up to 30 miles to client homes.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Maintain First Aid/CPR and CPI certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children on activities for emotional regulation.
• Follow individualized behavioral plans with training and supervision.
• Create engaging activities aligned with each child’s interests and goals.
• Support healthy relationships and communication skills.
• Assist with daily living skills and community integration.
