Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed professional counselor or licensed social worker with 1 year experience working with children and youth.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proper grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to convey concepts that draw supporters and volunteers to BATP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update counseling plans by collecting and summarizing assessment data.
• Deliver direct counseling services (family, individual, group).
• Provide counseling hours in schools.
• Attend inter‑agency coalitions and networking groups.
• Supervise interns and staff in Chambers County.
• Provide direct advocacy and follow‑up to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
• Maintain client records per BATP requirements.
