Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in South Jersey seeks a patient care assistant to support RN and physician staff in the TSICU, ensuring timely care for critically ill or injured patients.

You will handle stocking, stocking and ordering of equipment, maintain 24-hour readiness, and assist with cleaning and maintenance of unit carts and supplies. Full-time night shift, 36 hours per week, with weekend/holiday rotation; EMT certification or eligibility and BLS required.

Qualifications

• EMT Field and pre-hospital experience.
• EKG, Phlebotomy, ACCU-Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and physician staff with care of critically ill and injured patients.
• Stocking and ordering of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a 24 hour ready status in all units.
• Cleaning, maintenance and stocking of unit equipment and supply in procedure carts.
