Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree not required beyond listed education; active nursing enrollment.
• Experience in phlebotomy or EKG procedures preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patients’ activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, hygiene, mobility, transport).
• Perform phlebotomy and EKGs; monitor vital signs; document appropriately.
• Identify and communicate changes in patient status to RN and respond to ensure safety.
• Reinforce education for patients and families; participate in satisfaction initiatives and performance improvement.
• Complete annual competencies and adhere to safety protocols for high-quality care.
