Job summary

You will coordinate and deliver nursing care using the nursing process in a fast-paced hospital setting. Qualifications include graduation from a professional nursing program and NC RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years and obtain a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Nursing or a Master’s degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.

Responsibilities

• Educates and identifies learning needs of patients and families.
• Evaluates care with the interdisciplinary team to promote continuity and outcomes.
• Implements care for patients with complex problems using nursing standards and safety considerations.
• Develops goals to promote professional growth and unit performance improvements.
• Assesses patient data to determine priorities for care and discharge planning.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary resources to plan patient care.
