Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a Level II Trauma mixed ICU on night shift, 7P–7A, with 1 year of ICU experience required. The unit handles medical, surgical, cardiac and neurosurgery patients in a 38-bed setting and uses advanced equipment.

RNs must hold an active CO or Compact license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, and be comfortable with bedside procedures and frequent drip titrations. 13-week assignment with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active RN license, CO or Compact.
• Minimum 1 year ICU hospital experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Level II Trauma ICU on night shift (7P–7A).
• Perform bedside procedures such as bronchoscopies, GI scopes, chest tube insertions, and arterial/central line insertions.
• Maintain patient safety with nurse staffing ratios typically 2:1 to 1:1 depending on acuity.
