Advocate Health’s Surgical Trauma ICU unit in Oak Lawn seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the perioperative and ICU setting. The 20-bed unit emphasizes teamwork with trauma surgeons, APNs, and nursing staff to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

The role requires completing an accredited nursing program, holding an IL RN license, BLS certification, and preferably 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Active RN license in Illinois or eligible.
• BLS certification.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
