Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ seeks an experienced nurse leader to plan and provide clinical support, leading a team to ensure high-quality patient care in a busy imaging nursing support unit.

The role requires a BSN, active RN license in Arizona, and BLS. You will supervise staff, drive quality initiatives, and participate in budget and operations planning to support optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of nursing and healthcare.
• BSN degree is required for this role and RN licensure is active.
• Requires current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees unit operations to ensure smooth patient care and assign beds and staff.
• Coordinates quality initiatives and drives process improvements.
• Leads development of staff, coaching, performance evaluations and retention.
• Assists in budget development and daily resource management.
• Supervises clinical unit staff to ensure excellent patient care and staff engagement.
