Job summary

Banner Health seeks a Trauma Program Manager to lead operational and clinical activities for the trauma service at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. The role requires coordinating daily operations, staff leadership, and ensuring adherence to national standards and state regulations.

The incumbent will drive quality improvement and education across the trauma continuum. Requires RN licensure, a nursing degree, and advanced certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice; BLS, TNCC, ATCN/ABLS as applicable.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience in high-acuity trauma-related areas; at least two years in supervision/leadership.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop staff; strong data and quality-improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the trauma program.
• Ensure compliance with ACS and state regulatory standards.
• Coordinate quality improvement initiatives and data reporting (NTDB/TQIP).
• Lead education for trauma teams and participate in system initiatives.
• Manage budget processes and cross-department collaboration.
