Job summary

AtlantiCare’s Registered Nurse role in Atlantic City, NJ collaborates with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care across inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

The RN uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) to coordinate care with the medical treatment plan, participate in performance improvement, and support continuous professional growth while maintaining licensure and certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey or current multi state license.
• American Heart Association BLS required upon hire or transfer.
• 2 years medical/surgical and/or emergency room experience preferred.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• ATCN or TNCC required within 24 months of hire or transfer.
• PALS or ENPC attained within 12 months of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process in inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary plan of care to align with medical treatment plans.
• Lead and participate in performance improvement initiatives and professional development.
• Documentation of assessment, care planning, intervention and evaluation as required.
