Job summary

NYU Langone Health in Bellevue, WA seeks a Physician Assistant to join the Trauma & Emergency General Surgery team. The PA will provide comprehensive medical care, coordinate therapies, and collaborate with supervising physicians to deliver timely patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Requirements include a Physician Assistant Bachelor's Degree (BA-PA), NYS PA license, NCCPA board certification, and BLS. ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• To qualify you must have a Physician Assistant Bachelor's Degree (BA-PA).
• Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
• NCCPA Board Certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Supports the mission, philosophy, standards, goals and objectives of the institution, department and clinical service.
• Educates patient and family to facilitate and promote healthy adjustment to new or changed health patterns.
• Evaluates treatment and health care plans for effectiveness and modifies per clinical standards and practice protocols.
• Prescribes medical equipment, devices, medications, and therapy per practice protocol and state law.
• Works collaboratively with nursing and other disciplines in the development and implementation of clinical studies and treatment plans.
